Well I can because we get it every single day.  Nothing you can do or say will change their minds apart from rolled eyes and then legal action based on EU 2002/38 and whatever other law these clowns decide to break at the time.  

This comment on the above Tiktok is unbelievable and yet so believable. 

This however, is not enough for many EU officials who are routinely allowed to say it and deny us our European rights. This nonsense affects Irish people every day in a real and tangable way. It is completly wrong.   It needs to STOP.  There is absolutley no reason for it and it is based on absolute ignorance of basic, verifiable facts.

Ireland gained independence from the United Kingdom on December 6, 1921, when representatives of the two states signed the Anglo-Irish Treaty.  

In 1948 John A. Costello, the then Taoiseach  announced that legislation would remove the residual role of the King in Irish law. The subsequent Republic of Ireland Act, 1948, “hereby declared that the description of the State shall be the Republic of Ireland”.

On the 14th of December 1955, as the 10th General Assembly drew to a close, Ireland took its place as the 63rd member of the United Nations.

On the 1st of January 1973 Ireland joined the European Economic Community along with Denmark and the United Kingdom.  Denmark and Ireland are both full members of the EU to this day.  The two other British colonies in the EU Malta and Cyprus are also full EU members and are not part of the United Kingdom. 

The United Kingdom left the European Union on the 1st of February 2020.  No other country has left the EU.
